We have been awarded a contract by Brownsville Marine Products, LLC (BMP) for construction of a new 44,100 SF Pre-Engineered production building located in Brownsville, PA. This expansion, expected to be completed in March, will create 50 new jobs in early 2012, adding to their current staff of 300.
BMP specialize in the new construction of jumbo open and covered Hopper Barges and Deck Barges, Barge Repair and CNC Steel Fabrication Services. BMP’s facility is also capable of building Dock Barges, Dry Docks and other customer specified steel hull Special Vessels. In 2009, the facility produced 86 barges.
